LPCA Annual Legislative Day
May 17, 2017

Every year, Louisiana's Community Health Centers gather at the State Capitol in Baton Rouge for LPCA's Annual Legislative Day.  FQHC advocates get the opportunity to meet with their state legislators and emphasize the important role they play in their communities.

This year's Legislative Day takes on even greater importance as access to healthcare services is threatened on both a state and national level.

This year's event will be different than in years past.  We will not have health screenings in the Capitol Rotunda.  Instead, we will host advocacy activities throughout the day for health center staff, CEOs, and advocates.

Click here to access our tentative agenda.

Each health center is asked to RSVP and assign a Key Contact for their organization - an individual who will attend the event and be willing to speak with their legislators.

Send your RSVP and name of your Key Contact to Ryan Sinitiere at rsinitiere@lpca.net.  As the event gets closer, LPCA staff will reach out to your Key Contacts with important information and event logistics.

We are excited to announce LPCA's 1st Health Center Mixer.  This is a great opportunity to network, connect and build relationships after work in a professional, fun and casual atmosphere.

Join us at Tsunami (100 Lafayette St., Baton Rouge) from 5pm to 7pm immediately after Legislative Day.  Enjoy complimentary appetizers as you connect with LPCA board members and other professionals.  Cash bar available.  In addition to great food and drink, you'll enjoy a beautiful view of the Mississippi River!

Let us know you're coming!  Register here.
